The Black Stars have moved up to 36th in the world in the latest world football rankings released by Fifa.
The Stars have moved up one step from the previous month’s ranking of 37th, but stay third on the continent.
Algeria (32) and Cote d’Ivoire (35) remain the top two ranked nations on the continent.
Globally, Argentina might keep losing finals but they stay top in the world, followed by Belgium, Colombia and world champions Germany. New European champions Portugal are 6th, whilst surprise semi finalists Wales have moved up to 11th in the world.
