The Vice President of the land has not only shown his patriotism but has dared to meet a promise he made to car maker Kwadwo Safo.
On May 24, 2016 the Vice President announced on his Facebook page his intentions of purchasing three of Kwadwo Safo Kantanka car and yesterday that intention became a passing reality.
Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur after a test drive in the Kantanka Omama vehicle purchased two cars from the collection at the company’s factory at Gomoa Mpota.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Kantanka Group, Owusu Bempah confirmed on Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’.
According to Owusu Bempah, the Vice President drove off one of the vehicles himself after the purchase.He further announced that the company now has three types of the vehicles available on the market – Kantanka Onantefour, Omama and Min-SUV.
The Onantefour cost GHC 89,000 while the Omana goes for GHC 75,000 and the Mini-SUV goes for 65,000. He entreated Ghanaians to purchase the vehicles since there are trained mechanics who can help fix them when they develop faults.
