A facility at Momo a suburb in Kumasi, Ashanti Region has been shut down by the Ghana tourism Board. The facility which serve as an eatery also has chambers embodied in it. These chambers are used as platforms for the prostitutes in this region to offer their nightly duties to their cherished patrons.
According to Ultimate FM’s Isaac Bediako Justice, the facility was closed due to nonpayment of tourism taxes.Several young girls were seen in the cubicles of the brothel serving customers in bed, at the time of the operation.Some of them were spotted in their school uniforms.
Abraham Tetteh, an administrator of the Tourism Development fund told Bediako they will continue to clamp down on illegal hospitality facilities in the region.
