Sarkodie Did Not Diss M.anifest On ‘Bossy’ – Hammer

Sarkodie

The CEO of the Last Two Music group and one of the most definitive voices on music in the country, Edward Nana Poku, professionally known as Hammer, says the current biggest feud in the country was sparked by a misunderstanding.
Sarkodie and M.anifest have been going at each other pretty hard for the past week or so, after Sarkodie’s verses on ‘Bossy’ provoked a response from M.anifest.
Hammer, speaking on Pluzz Fm Friday, said that Sarkodie’s last line in ‘Bossy’, in which he used M.anifest’s famous ‘dot dot ti dor’ line, was actually a sign of respect towards the artiste, which he believes M.anifest misread.
“It was a clear issue of misunderstanding. M.anifest got the ‘Bossy’ song wrong. I think he saw it as an attack on him. Everybody saw it as a way Sarkodie showed him respect. Unfortunately, he saw it as a disrespectful song,” he said.
Hammer added that due to this, he believes the issue would be calmly resolved soon.
“It is not a proper beef. It was just an issue of misunderstanding. And I’m sure they will resolve it.” He added.
We sure as hell hope not. Unlike Okyeame Kwame, we think beefs are good as they generate buzz for an otherwise stale music industry.
