Chris Brown is one of the millions of disgusted African Americans across the US tired of the shooting of black people in circumstances that would not happen to other people.
Alton Sterling and Philando Castile were shot by police officers in innocuous circumstances during the week, leading to massive protests that have turned sour, with four police officers shot to death by snipers in Dallas Thursday.
An emotional Chris Brown has released a couple tracks in the aftermath, ‘A Lot of Love’ and ‘My Friend’, talking about the problem of police brutality facing African Americans and giving a message of hope and prevailing above prejudice.
Several prominent Black artists incorporate the problem of police killing their folk into their art, and for many, like Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar or even T.I, it can lead to controversy, despite they articulating feelings that everybody should sympathise with.
