The European football governing authority, UEFA, has called on football players not to bring their families, especially the kids, onto the pitch after games to celebrate.
The body says their presence poses a security risk, taking away one of the most fun part of player’s after game rituals.
Welsh player Gareth Bale went viral when he brought his daughter onto the pitch after one of their games, and UEFA had to forbid the practice after it happened again a few more times.
Tournament director Martin Kallan said: “A stadium is not the most safe place for small kids if fans invaded the field, and with stadium staff operating machinery on the playing surface.”
“It is nice pictures. We are not 100% against it but we are cautious.” he added.
The tournament continues Wednesday with the first semi-final between Portugal and Wales.
