The Conservative Party in the UK are in a warzone currently, as a group of candidates vie to be elected as the party’s leader post Cameron and thus in effect, it’s next Prime Minister.
Interestingly, whilst the candidate’s fight to be chosen, it seems like one of their own party’s oldest and most respected MP’s has very little faith in them.
Kenneth Clark was in the studios of Sky for an interview, and after the interview, he had a lovely off the record conversation with colleague Sir Malcolm Rifkind.
Fortunately or unfortunately, the conversation wasn’t exactly off-air as it was picked up by the cameras of Sky.
As he probably knew he was off air, Clarke was frank in his comments as he put the entire field – Theresa May, Michael Gove, Liam Fox, Stephen Crabb and Andrea Leadsom – to the sword.
