Whether being taken out of context or people are plainly being disingenuous, Sarkodie’s lawyer and brother-in-law-Moses Foh-Amoaning has apologized on Adom Fm, for Sarkodie’s GTP mention in his Kanta diss-track to M.anifest.
Yesterday, Moses Foh-Amoaning apologized on behalf of Sarkodie for any sort of contempt the rapper’s GTP remark may be seen to be causing—even if not intended.
He somewhat by this comment can be said to be agreeing with the many who think that line and the subsequent Afrocentric-ism marginalization by Sarkodie were all below the belt.
Several Sarkodie fans have interpreted the GTP issue as not a ridicule of the Ghanaian textile but rather meant to throw shade at M.anifest’s gross-gender style of clothing, “kaba”—though in reality M.anifest does not wear anything that resembles “kaba”.
But whatever it’s, Moses Foh-Amoaning still thinks an apology is the best way to go—before even looking at whatever meanings others can fetch out the lyrics.
Mr. Foh-Amoaning is married to Sarkodie’s elder sister Maame Adwoa.
