My last message on this—spot the irony.
M.anifest grew up in America; he has seen it all—he owns a credit card, Sarkodie doesn’t even have that simple plastic.
Yet Sarkodie who grew up in Ghana and only started traveling about 6 years ago says, the child who played in Footlocker is somewhat whack, because he wears GTP in a kaba style.
And what does the kid himself wear? He wears “akata”, what M.anifest grew up on and has evidently ditched.
Sarkodie goes to perform in America and that’s him at his peak—he just visits and he shares several photos on social media. This is the same America the other dude grew up in, attended school and obtained a degree from, that he left behind.
The truth is; one of these people wants to be like the other—one is insecure in his skin and is obsessed with everything foreign.
“Bitch, Nigga and others’ make up the American vulgar—the one who grew up there and naturally has the accent does not even care to employ them in a diss—yet the one who grew up at Tema is so obsessed with those words.
Hmmm—I am taking a break to watch Marco Polo Season 2 Episode 7.
