Sarkodie and M.anifest have pretty much been the most talked about artists over the past few days, first with the release of M.anifest’s ‘God MC’, followed by Sarkodie’s ‘Kanta’.
Sarkodie’s reply dropped late Sunday, and one of his lines took aim at M.anifest for wearing GTP clothes.
“Obi bɛ diss me a na ɛnyɛ rapper ɔde GTP ntoma pam kaba…Me no me rap yɛ authentic” he rapped on ‘Kanta’.
Much like his line about ‘Pro Bono’, Sarkodie doesn’t seem to know where he’s going with the sentiment. There’s no reason why someone’s wardrobe is any indication of his worthiness or not to diss Sark.
The company GTP themselves found it fit to subtly throw shade at Sark for hitting at their line of clothing.
“#GTP prides itself on producing the best quality, best value textiles and designs. Still timeless” their official handle tweeted late Sunday.
Still timeless, they say. We can’t exactly say that for Sarkodie after this beef now, can we?
