A couple of weeks ago,we did an article on our “foregone pleasures”—where I tried to delve into the collective minds of our readers, subtly making them live the past. The memories that have perhaps been forgotten and I believe I was not the only one left nostalgic. Today we are here with the second bit of that bit.
There are items or things that one had a high probability of finding in almost every typical Ghanaian home. The mere mention of such items create nothing less than a curved smile along your lips.
1. Queen Elizabeth or Ever Sheen Cocoa Butter
I bet the mention of Ever Sheen cocoa butter rings but only one sound and brings just one name to mind. Yes! Our very own Yvonne Nelson who with dint of hard work tried to convince us that her change in complexion was kind courtesy of this very cream.
If so were the case then everyone of us would be fairer (if not whiter) than her because this cream never missed the fragile skin of almost every young lad or girl that I knew.
The shine it brought to one’s forehead and hairless skin alone…
now u dont find key soap around anymore. Its no more fashionable. A lot of things have changed. Technology have taken the better part of the world. The world has indeed changed. God is Great.
