Surfline seems to be getting worse now that they have so many subscribers—per the number of complaints we are receiving from their customers.
Internet Service remains a luxury in Ghana with Surfline being one of the few offering this luxury at extortionate prices. But Ghanaians have no choice and they must pay through their noses—however, it becomes something like a deliberate scam if after paying the high price, you are still unable to enjoy the service you’ve paid for.
And this is exactly what the below customer of Surfline is experience.
Read his complaint below…
Hello CD,
I was part of the first 100 to purchase Surfline when they started operating in 2014. Then, they offered good service and doubled data anytime you reacharged.
But since late 2015, their network is nothing to write home about, not to talk of their expensive data plans and also outrageous amounts they charge for surfing. I quit using my mifi for about 3 months and switched to another ISP because their data was too expensive and they had interrupted internet most of the time.
I switched back again about 2weeks ago because their 4g internet can’t be compared with any other mobile ISP currently in Ghana , only to find out the problem has worsen. I purchased an unlimited night bundle and anytime I decide to stay awake till midnight to surf, there are constant problems with their network at that time.
Miraculously, they provide excellent service at day time when they charge you a lot for their service.
For about 24hrs now, the Surfline network has been down with my mifi modem reading no service.
It is usual to experience technical difficulties with any ISP, but at least I expect them to notify us about this, rather than constantly blow up our phones with txt messages of promotions.Yhese promotions don’t mean anything when we cant have uninterrupted internet
Surfline must be put in line.
From a frustrated Surfline customer.

Response from Surfline to ‘CustomerDiscuss.Com’ team
Surfline says it sent out messages to its customers this morning around 8:50—when the network has been down since yesterday.
About CustomerDiscuss.Com:
Customer service in Ghana and most parts of Africa is the crappiest we’ve ever come across; as if Ghanaians or Africans use mango leaves to pay for services. The broadband never works, the electricity is never on, the water never flows—and the waitress can keep you waiting for your food until hunger kills your buds.
The real pain is, you have no alternative to turn to—because, like a gang of fools, they are all the same.
Almost every service and product delivering company in Africa has it butt in the faces of customers, farting uncontrollably because the customer cannot really do anything.  Mostly, if you quietly complain, they do nothing and if you are unlucky, they tell you to go f**k off.
Consumers have no voice, not even individual voices—let alone a collective one to force any sort of change.
So we’ve started this website-CustomerDiscuss.Com, supported by GhanaCelebrities.Com and other platforms, dedicated to corporate and public Africa, especially Ghana—-it’s time we shame some of these companies, tear down their lousy services, help them to lose customers and force them to do what’s right.
If you have a complaint about your telecom company, internet provider, a restaurant, your bank or even your church, shoot an email to us via; [email protected] or call/whatsapp 00447961817712.
When you go to a restaurant and you are served in a broken plate or on a dirty table, just take some photos and send them to us with the needed details.
Together, we can get these people to be accountable and importantly, do what’s expected of them.
