Highlife singer Amanzeba Nat Brew has endorsed President John Dramani Mahama for the upcoming November elections.
He revealed he would be voting for Mahama in an interview with Ohemaa Woyeje on Adom Fm’s “Work & Happiness” show held Tuesday (June 28).
“Mahama has been my friend for a long time even before he became the Vice President. I use to go to his office whenever I visit the late Professor John Evans Atta Mills who happened to be my uncle. I remember I used to spend more time at his office than that of my uncle,” he explained why Mahama is his choice.
The “Wogbe” hit singer added that no one should have a problem with entertainers for making their political stance known. He said this whilst commending Kwabena Kwabena for openly endorsing the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer Nana Akufo Addo.
“You know why I respect Kwabena Kwabena, because he has come out to state his position. Why should people have problems with someone stating his position?” he said.
