Prison Officer In Brong Ahafo Commits Suicide

“There comes a time when you look into the mirror and you realize what you see is all you will ever be. And then you accept it or you kill yourself  or you stop looking into the mirrors”- Tennessee Williams.
A suicidal person may not ask for help but does not mean they do not need it. Those who commit suicide typically do not want to die— they just want to end a pain of a sort.
An officer of the Ghana Prison Service has committed suicide at Duayaw Nkwanta in the Brong Ahafo Region. The reason why he took his life is not lucid as it stands. The man whose name was given as Budu was found hanged on a rope dead in his room.
Budu, the deceased neighbours are still bathed with goosebumps as they cannot fathom why he took his life since he had a lucrative business thus a printing press aside his day job as a prison officer. To them he just did not meet the criteria of a suicidal person.
The Brong Ahafo Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
