Former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac, who led the Stars to their historic run to the quarter finals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, has been appointed the new coach of the Desert Foxes of Algeria.
The Algerian FA announced the new appointment Sunday, although details of his contract were not made immediately public.
Rajevac would be in the country next month to take charge of his new side, charged with qualifying them to the 2018 world cup in Russia, a task for which the team would face a tough qualifying group including Nigeria, Cameroon and Zambia.
‘Milo’, as he was affectionately known as during his time in charge of the Stars, guided Ghana to the final of the 2010 Cup of African Nations where we lost to Egypt, as well as the side that lost painfully on penalties to Uruguay in the 2010 World Cup.
