It is starting like this ( in Abraham Attah`s voice)— you would only see all kinds of knives when an elephant falls, everyone in a haste to have their own share of it’s meat.
When you live in a country that proudly boast of mediocrity, certain happenings can never be your enemy, they are like trying to dodge a pothole in a swampy area when you should be thinking of your ability to drown. Whichever way they come is not appreciable.
Bukom Banku thinks he would be the next ambassador when President Mahama maintains office so the likes of Bibi Bright thinking she is an actress is outrightly acceptable. For someone who is named ‘Bright’, her trait is not far from coal. She simply has no iota of brightness in her—Bibi, a true definition of dumsor.
Just when we are about getting over Miss Bright’s display of stupidity, offensive ignorance and her attempt to throw dust into our eyes as to her real profession, we crossed paths with another equally numbskull who thinks displaying her overt body is a way of portraying acting skills—if not her beauty. Another addition to the Moesha cluster.
“Actress Efia Odo Shows More Goodies At Heels & Sneakers Premiere”– such a pathetic headline. This is how she dressed to yesterday’s premiere of Yvonne Nelson’s new TV series in Accra.
You display such absurdity to grab the headlines. These p*rn stars by night are doing little to hide that aspect of their lives from the public’s eye. It would do all of us a lot of good if they drop the actress tag and just go ahead with their obvious professions.
What exactly is wrong with these people?
Must it always be levelled down to this? Whatever happened to your brains? Should it be always be about selling your body cheaply in the name of being an actress? Whatever happened to the pride attached to covering what is meant to be covered. No wonder men of today would lure a woman into bed by promising them material worth as low as an iphone.
GhanaCelebrities.Com writer-Edith Osei Bonsu was apt with her write up on p*rn star actress Bibi Bright when she said “the Ghanaian Movie Industry is literally dead, yet each day, someone crops up, takes off her clothes and claims to be an actress—when no one knows of any movie such a person has starred in.”
Efia Odo falls in that category and fortunately for her we are here to give her that much needed 10 seconds of fame. It’s pathetic that you would dress provocatively to attract a married man just so you can fulfil your selfish desire of living a supposed high life.
I am a woman and I can’t even run away from the shame when I see these things anymore, because anywhere I make the run to, I am met with the same or a much worse one. What happened to the dignity of the African woman, of the Ghanaian woman in particular?
We do not need laws to tell us that, being decent is not an option, it’s a necessity that attracts respect and denotes self pride and esteem. It’s obvious our so called new crop of actors think you must strip down to nothing before you can be deemed sexy or beautiful.
What’s the difference between this so called actress and the night-workers that gather at Adabraka and Circle each night?
Must want to become everything we see on TV, even if championed by Lady Gaga, Madonna or Kim Kardashian, especially when we don’t have their kind of money, audience and even talent?
Can we begin to see some of the movies and we mean good movies that these so called many actresses have featured in—instead of their constant nudity and outright tackiness?

oki ive seen a couple of her movies…i cant feel her acting but then again jackie appiah and all those started from the bottom and some of them have mastered the game…evn though im not much of a fan of all jackies movies and acting sometimes…so far my favorite in ghana is majid and adjetey anang(thats his name yeh)…but with this article its like you have a personal issue with this afia odo…she showed clevage…shes a grown woman and the premier was for grown ups abi? bashing her like that was not really cool
Maybe because i see her dressed like this everyday, it doesn’t look strange to me. She doesn’t wear (own) a bra and even if you watch her snaps…she shows her boobs everytime, she leaves little to imagination. she is practically naked all the time.
