Miss Great Britain- Zara Holland Stripped Of Crown After Having S*x On Reality Show

Reigning Miss Great Britain, Zara Holland, has been stripped of her crown by pageant organisers after she was filmed having s*x on a reality television show.
Zara is currently competing in ITV 2’s ‘Love Island’- a reality show which pits single men and women together in an attempt to enable them find a partner.
Zara was filmed on Wednesday’s episode in bed with fellow contestant Alex Bowen, with the explicit implication being that they had just been intimate. Both discussed the development with their housemates on Thursday’s episode.
After the episode aired, Miss Britain organisers announced the decision to strip Holland of her crown.
“Although Miss Great Britain is the oldest pageant system in the UK, we pride ourselves on promoting the positivity of pageants in modern society and this includes the promotion of a strong, positive, female role model in our winners.” A statement from the organisation read.
“The feedback we have received from pageant insiders and members of the general public is such that we cannot promote Zara as a positive role model moving forward.
“We wholly understand that everyone makes mistakes, but Zara, as an ambassador for Miss Great Britain, simply did not uphold the responsibility expected of the title.”
Deone Robertson, who finished as runner-up, will now be bestowed with the crown of Miss Britain.
