Many ‘One Man’ Churches Would Collapse Within A Decade – Bola Ray

CEO of the Excellence in Broadcasting Network, Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi, ska Bola Ray, has opined that many companies in the country would collapse within the next decade because those leading them have no succession plan.
Speaking at a seminar for some marketing students from the University of Ghana, the ace broadcaster turned media mogul said that most of the churches we see around are run by one strong man who controls everything, and without a succession plan, the business is sure to fail sometime in the near future.
“…And there is one problem; succession plan” he told the students.
“I am telling you, here in Ghana, in the ten years a lot of these big churches you see around will collapse because it’s one man thing and it has happened to a lot of businesses.”
He added that setting concrete, institutional structures is the way for a company to survive long term.
“A lot of these companies that we talk about, they will just sell; but you should build structures, systems to ensure that the company lives beyond you. The tighter businesses that we are celebrating now, if the systems are not right, and they want to bring everything to themselves, it will fail.” he added.
Bola Ray currently heads the EIB network, which includes companies such as Gh One TV, Starr Fm and the Daily Heritage newspaper.
