Ghana’s Evergreen Goalie Richard ‘Olele’ Kingson Turns 38 Today

Richard Kingston

Former Black Stars goalkeeper Richard ‘Olele’ Kingson is hitting another milestone today, as ‘he who refuses to age’ turns 38.
The goalie, elder brother of another former Stars player, Laryea, was born on June 13, 1978.
Richard was the starting goalkeeper for Ghana at our first two world cups in Germany (2006) and South Africa (2010.) He played all across the world in a solid career that mainly occurred in Turkey (where he’s also a citizen), but also included a stint in the English Premier League.
Olele is generally considered timeless because he doesn’t seem to age, even as the years go by.
Happy birthday to the evergreen goalie.
