British singer Adele has joined the celebrity infested locality of Beverly Hills, California, with the purchase of a $9.5m mansion in the Los Angeles county.
Adele reportedly made the purchase in a secretive sale about a month ago, talking down the owner to the final price from the initial $9.9m.
According to TMZ, “the house has 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a pool, a treehouse and outdoor train set.”
Adele, who’s currently on tour, has yet to move into her new sweet pad; but the decision to purchase a US home has sparked huge speculation among British media of what that could mean for her base of operations going forward, whether she’s contemplating being based in the US rather than the UK.
When she does finally move in though, she can look forward to socialising with neighbours such as Jennifer Lawrence, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie and, this being Beverly Hills, many, many other stars.
