The Ghana Free Thinkers Podcast took a mini break and it will return tonight at 20:00GMT—-with Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri hosting a panel of intellectuals and free thinkers to discuss some of the big questions hovering around.
Godwin Nii-Armah Okine, journalist and atheist from Ghana, Edward Newton-a free thinker and enthusiast of religion studies based in UK, Fleance Kyere-a free thinker based in UK, Adam B-atheist residing in Ghana and others will be on the podcast tonight to look at Free Speech and Ghana Police Service’s contemplation of shutting down social media during the upcoming elections.
Also, the issue of feminism, especially whether a woman has the right to dress a certain provocative way or not, has been of interest to the Ghanaian social media landscape—-and as such, the panel will explore contemporary feminism to establish if such conducts ought to be respected or not.
The conversation will touch on religion, particularly faith, the foundation of religion—-and examine its weakness or strength as well as the the general effect of concepts like faith on critical evaluation and the need for evidence.
