A few days ago the self-acclaimed dancehall King in Ghana-Shatta Wale dropped a new single-Wu Maame Tw3, profane at worst, provocative at best—and it got several people talking.
The song which translates as ‘Your Mother’s Pussy’ has been tagged indecent—with those indicting him on the back of morality arguing that as a somewhat youth ambassador, he ought to make decent and meaningful songs.
But it seems Shatta Wale has not even the slightest regret for the release; a few hours ago he took to twitter to say the manner in which people continue to embarrass musicians in Ghana demands that, songs like ‘Wu Maame Tw3’ are made and as long as this treatment continues, he will keep singing songs like that.
There seems to be a fire on the mountain–Shatta is definitely upset about something, as usual.
