Singer, songwriter, DJ, and whatever else you want to call him, Calvin Harris, was involved in an accident Friday night.
The ‘We Found Love’ hitmaker was reportedly driving to the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) when his car was rammed from behind by a 16 year old, who was driving a VW Bug convertible.
The incident occurred around 11pm Friday night (Saturday morning GMT), TMZ reports.
The Scottish record producer was in his Cadillac SUV (he wasn’t driving), when the VW- driven by a teenager and full of other teenagers- crossed the centre line and rammed into him.
The impact was forceful, and Harris suffered serious lacerations on his face. He was rushed to a nearby LA hospital, but he reportedly upped and left when he was told he couldn’t be treated in a private room.
His exit was reportedly ‘against medical advice’.
Taylor Swift’s hearthrob received treatment at another facility, and has cancelled some gigs as doctors told him to ‘rest for a few days’.
At least three of the teenagers in the VW suffered injuries, with one having suffered a broken pelvis, according to the gossip site.
