The Netflix production that hosted Abraham Attah’s sensational acting debut continues to pile up the awards recognition, after the release of the nominees list for the 2016 BET awards saw another nod for the movie.
Beasts of No Nation has been nominated in the ‘Best Movie’ category for the 2016 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards. The nomination adds to an impressive list of accolades already accrued by the Cary Fukunaga directed movie that spurred Attah to fame.
The movie has already picked up 48 nominations for cast and crew, including Best Film at the All Def Movie awards and a Best Male Lead for Attah at the Independent Spirit Film Awards.
Beasts of No Nation would compete against other popular pictures such as ‘Concussion’, ‘Creed’ and ‘Straight Outta Compton’ for the enviable prize at the June 26 awards.
