The elections for a new presiding member for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly devolved into a free for all brawl between parties present on Tuesday.
The two contestants, Nana Kofi Senya and Nana Adumhene , both perceived to be sympathetic to the NPP and NDC respectively, failed to gain the required two thirds majority vote to carry the election.
After five rounds of voting, allegations of vote tampering occurred, leading to the entertaining brawl.
