A man described as ‘emotionally disturbed’ was arrested by NYPD outside singer Taylor Swift’s home in Tribeca Tuesday night, after he showed up on the property uninvited.
The man showed up at her home and was immediately spotted by her security team, who swooped in to detain him and invited the cops who whisked him away, TMZ reported.
Swift was not home at the time.
The issue of intruders and celebrities is not a new one, and many others (Chris Brown and Kris Jenner spring to mind) has had to deal with similar incidents of uninvited guests showing up at their homes. Swift herself suffered a similar incident at her home in Los Angeles in February.
The man had a duffel bag which police searched, and was sent to hospital for evaluation by police as he seemed ‘emotionally disturbed’. He has yet to be charged with a formal crime.
