Ama K. Abebrese turns 36 today, May 3, and she just received the birthday wish of the day from fellow actor Kobina Amissah-Sam.
Kobina played the role of Agu’s father in ‘Beasts of No Nation’, the husband of Ama K’s character, who was the mother of the protagonist (played by young Ghanaian Abraham Attah).
So to mark his ‘wife’s’ birthday, Amissah-Sam penned a gushing message to Abebrese which he posted on social media.
He recounted how meeting her for the first time on the set of ‘Beasts’, she was far down to earth than he had envisioned her to be.
His effusive message for the actress was picked up by the actress herself, who shared it on her page.
One fan, amazed at the endless platitudes in the post, called on Kobina to come out and propose already- if that was what was on his mind.
Happy 36th birthday to Ama K., who, truth be told, is one of the more unfussy celebrities in this country.
