Shatta Wale lit up the Black Star Square Friday night with a highly successful show to launch his new album, ‘After The Storm’.
The launch, which he opened free to the public, drew tens of thousands of the ‘dancehall king’s’ fans to fill up the iconic square and watch him on stage.
The singer performed for hours, keeping his characteristically rabid fans engaged throughout. The cherry on the cake was when rapper Sarkodie joined Wale on stage, raising the volume in the arena decibels higher.
A grateful Shatta Wale took to Facebook Saturday to thank his loyal fans for making the launch a huge success. Shatta Wale has one of, if not the, most dedicated fans in the country, and they showed why last night, thronging the event to watch only one artiste perform.
