The legion of fraudsters lurking in the recesses of the internet often impersonate celebrities online, and use their identities to attempt to extort money from unsuspecting people- its an unfortunate side effect of their celebrity, and a recent high profile case involved actor Majid Michel.
Seems like Paedae might have fallen victim to such a ruse online, with an account seemingly impersonating him on Facebook, leading to a disavowal from the official R2BEES account.
In a post on the social networking site Friday, the official R2BEES account informed fans that Paedae has no account on Facebook, thus any account contacting anyone purporting to be him should be ignored.
It’s come to our notice this morning of people impersonating Omar Sterling aka Paedae da pralem on Facebook.. Sorry he’s not on Facebook.. He doesn’t have a Facebook.. Thanks- R2BEES
