Dancehall ‘king’ Shatta Wale is hours away from kicking off his much anticipated album launch at the Black Star Square in Accra.
Obrafour, the veteran hiplife star, has taken to social media to wish his brother in arms well for the event which would be held tonight (April 29).
“Good luck to you tonight as you outdoor #AfterTheStorm. #ShattaWale” the official Facebook account of the ‘Oye Ohene’ rapper wrote Friday.
The album, ‘After The Storm’, is to be the ‘Kakai’ hitmaker’s debut studio album as Shatta Wale, after releasing a string of mix tapes since his re-emergence a few years ago. The story is that that after going through so much trials and tribulations, the new album is set to tell his story- his rebirth, as he put it.
The Shatta Movement are set to hit the country with a huge event tonight, the artist’s rabid legion of fans turning up for the concert, which he has pegged the entrance fee at zero cedis.
