Singer Efya, one of the top vocalists on the local scene, has launched her debut album ‘Janesis’ in Accra, and reaped quite the amount for the sale of its maiden copy.
An anonymous benefactor at the launch, held at the Pot 7 club in Osu, bid $150,000 to pick up the first copy of the album.
Efya, born Jane Awindor, has had a tremendous impact on the local scene since breaking out during the first edition of the singing reality show ‘Stars of the Future’.
The maiden album launch for the multiple award winner was hosted by DKB, and drew appearances from heavyweights such as Bola Ray, Reggie Rockstone and Tinny.
‘Janesis’, produced by Kill Beatz, has artists such as Sarkodie, El and Ice Prince featured on several of its songs.
What stupidity and waste of money? Some children in Ghana are still going to school under treees and yet some fools who want to follow blindly the acts of the affluent Americans and Europeans are throwing away money that serves no meaningful or impactful purpose to the society at large.
You can’t tell people how to spend their money. Respect yourself.
Lol, riiighhhtt
I DOUBT THIS….
