The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings for 2016 has found the University of Ghana, Legon, as the 7th highest rated University on the continent.
THE World University Rankings ranks institutions of higher learning across the world, and in anticipation of THE African Universities summit, to be hosted by Legon this year, released the rankings.
South Africa dominated the top echelons of the list, with five out of the top six and Universities coming out of the continent’s southernmost state. Uganda’s Makerere University was the only institution outside the country to crack the top five, finishing fourth.
