The family of Bob Okala has decided to push back the dates of the final funeral rites for the late comedian.
Okala passed away unfortunately whilst performing at a Joy Industries program in the Eastern Regional capital Koforidua on Sunday, March 12.
The family’s initial plans had been to lay the late comedian in state on May 6 at the Arts Centre in Accra, with the funeral held the next day, May 7, at the Osu cemetery.
A family member of the deceased revealed that the same schedule has been pushed to June 10 and 11. Laying insstate on Friday, followed by the burial on Saturday.
The rationale is to give him the funeral that befits his status without clashing with upcoming Homowo activities.
