The late NPP MP, Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu, was laid in state in a ceremony at the State House in Accra Friday, as several dignitaries showed up to pay their final respects.
J.B Danquah-Adu, who until his demise was the member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, was stabbed to death at his house in Shaishie in Accra on February 9.
One suspect, 19 year old Daniel Asiedu, is currently on trial for the crime.
Several prominent personalities turned up to pay tribute to the late MP, including the President John Dramani Mahama, Former Presidents Kuffour and Rawlings, and several other political bigwigs.
Hos body would be transported back to Akyem Tafo for his burial on Saturday.
