Back in February, SM kingpin Shatta Wale announced a plan to release his first ever studio album this year, dubbed ‘After The Storm’.
The ‘Dancehall king’ revealed that after going through so much trials and tribulations, the new album is set to tell his story- his rebirth as he put it.
After much anticipation, Shatta has divulged the planned date for the launch of ‘After The Storm’. In a post on Facebook, the ‘Chop Kiss’ hitmaker warned fans to get ready;
“AFTER THE STORM ALBUM LAUNCH 29TH APRIL 2016.GET YOUR SOUVENIRS NOW…DONT BE LEFT OUT ..come and lets #BIEGYA #NOTIME” he wrote.
Born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, the artist once known as ‘Bandana’ has reinvented himself into one of the top dancehall acts in the world. And after a string of mixtapes, is ready to hit fans with a top class studio album.
Shatta also announced that the launch, which would be held at the Black Star Square, would be free for everyone, as a way to give back to his loyal fans.
