Part time gospel musician and full time secular artiste Ofori Amponsah, who has come under severe ridicule for failing to name a single Bible verse despite recently becoming a pastor, has revealed that memorising bible verses is for kids.
According to ‘Mr All 4 Real’, his so-called gaffe occurred because as a mature man of the word, he doesn’t need to memorise scriptures like kids do, but rather read with understanding  and let it guide his life.
“I thought quoting of Bible verse is for children. This is how I read the Bible; I read the Bible from my heart, I just don’t memorize it.” he said on an appearance on Celebrity Fan Zone.
“It’s like reading it and practising what it says, I don’t lay much emphasis on memorising the verses.”
So Ofori Amponsah is trying to tell us that something children can do with ease, he cannot do. And he’s not ashamed of that? He should stick with other excuses for why he bungled naming one bible verse.
