The 2016 MTV Movie awards came off at the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California, Saturday night.
The 25th edition of MTV’s annual movie fest was hosted by superstars Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the latest iteration in the Star Wars franchise and box office record breaker, picked up the coveted movie of the year award. Charlize Theron and Leornardo DiCaprio also picked up the top individual acting awards in the male and female categories respectively.
The show, which was pre-taped, would air on MTV Sunday night.
