When ‘The Fast and The Furious’ franchise makes a return next year, an entirely new character is going to pop up, played by Charlize Theron.
The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star has been announced as the new addition to the sprawling roster of A-Listers involved in the Universal Pictures record breaking franchise.
Theron, whose role is as a sort of villain, would join regulars Vin Diesel, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson for the next movie.
‘Fast 8’, written by Chris Morgan, directed by F. Gary Gray and produced by Neil Moritz and Diesel, enters into production next month. Release is set for April 14, 2017.
South African born Theron’s most notable credits in her long career includes ‘Mighty Joe Young’, ‘The Italian Job’, ‘Hancock’, ‘A Million Ways To Die In The West’ and most recently, ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’
