The first ever episode of the Ghana Freethinkers Podcast, which was broadcast on Monday, was a thought provoking two hours of discussion hosted by GhanaCelebrities.Com editor Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri.
The first episode had a heavy slant towards religion, but the second, set to broadcast Friday, would delve into politics, literature and law.
Chris-Vincent would be joined by fellow writer Godwin Nii-Armah Okine, Adam Braimah and several other guests; to delve into the big questions from the secular and free thinking angle, a different perspective from what you’ll normally find in Ghana.
The conversation would cover the Ghanaian political landscape, where scandals are a dime a dozen and accountability is virtually nil. It would also cover the huge controversy brewing in Ghana now over the role of satire and parody in media discourse, with ScrewLife.com and other similar sites coming under strong attacks in recent times.
Any other issue that might come up during our free flowing discussion would be tackled, and with us you know religion is never off the table.
So join Chris-Vincent and the crew at 20:00 Friday for this interesting discussion. Share this with a likeminded friend, and get them to join the conversation.
