Investigators have found no DNA on the much talked about knife discovered on O.J Simpson’s old estate that can tie him to the killings of his wife and a friend, a crime for which he was acquitted after a trial in 1995.
The tests could not reveal any discernible DNA which could be used, as microbes in the soil had degraded any DNA that might have been left on the knife.
According to TMZ, “there was no hair or other sample that produced a lead.”
As we reported last week, a strange sequence of events led to the discovery of a knife on the former estate of O.J Simpson, one that is being tied to the 1994 deaths of his wife Nicole Simpson Brown and her friend, Ron Goldman.
The knife was found years ago by a construction worker on the grounds of the sprawling estate, but the policeman he gave it to kept it for himself, thinking the case has been closed.
Police planned to test the knife for DNA and hair samples, to determine whether it could be linked to the murders. It seems the results are far from conclusive.
