50 Cent is embroiled in bankruptcy proceedings, yet somehow always finds the time to post wads of cash on his social media pages, a contradictory gesture which he nevertheless continues to do.
Of course the judge was going to pick up on that. So when he raised the issue in court, 50 Cent claimed the cash he flashes online is fake. Unconvinced, the judge asked him to explain why he feels the need to post such wads of cash if he’s really broke.
In court Thursday, 50 Cent’s attorney told the judge he keeps up the appearance of affluence because rap fans are poor and they look up to idols like 50 to see how to live the good life.
“He has to keep up his image for the fans.” His lawyer said, according to TMZ.
“Rap fans, they’re poor and they want their idols to be rich and something to look up to.”
So even though he’s broke, he keeps posting money online, not because he’s a self aggrandizing prick, but to make his fans feel better.
Ok. So how are they supposed to feel after hearing this load of bull?
