Rawlings & Kufuor Console Kenpong For Losing His Mom

Former Presidents of the Republic of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings  and John Agyekum Kufuor, have consoled former Board Member of Kumasi-based Football Club, Asante Kotoko, Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong) for losing his mom, Madam Janet Yaa Biamah.
The businessman, in the company of boxing legend, Azumah Nelson, ace actor Super OD and a high powered delegation called on the statesmen to officially announce his mother’s death.
Sympathizing with Kenpong, former President Kufuor said, ” the presence of your entourage attests to how well you have lived, the trail you have blazed. It is always said that the true colors of a man manifest when he loses his mom, but in your case, you demonstrated true qualities of a man even when your mom was alive. I will make time to mourn with you on the day.”
Later, Kenpong led the entourage to the Ridge residence of ex-President Rawlings who in like manner consoled Kenpong saying, “sorry Kennedy, I would have loved to meet your departed mom, but all the same, I will be present to give your mother a befitting burial.
“Be modest in planning the funeral, inform the president as well, you are a true son of this land and deserve to give your mom good farewell.”
Madam Janet Yaa Biamah, a native of Kwahu Mpraeso, 68, passed on few weeks ago, leaving behind nine children; Francis Agyapong (USA), Robert Agyapong (Accountant, 37, Military Hospital) Freeman Agyapong (37 Military Hospital),Samuel Agyapong (Ghana Police Service, Accra) Kenpong, among others and her husband Jacob Agyapong, a native of Kwahu Atibie.
Final funeral rites takes place at Kwahu Mpraeso on May 27, 2016.
