Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari is in trouble again, after his ugly temper reared its head during a league game in Saudi Arabia, where he now plies his trade.
Muntari physically attacked an opponent during the Saudi Champions Cup last 16 clash between his club Al-Ittihad and Al-Wahda Tuesday night.
After the game, Muntari was handed a two game ban and fined for the horrendous assault. He’s set to miss crucial games against Al Wahda, this time in the league, and Al Hazm.
Muntari, of course, has always been a hothead. Both he and Kevin Boateng were kicked out of Ghana’s 2014 World Cup camp, and he has gotten into trouble with the number of red cards he has picked up throughout his career. It seems his recent move to the Gulf, and becoming a father, has done little to tame him.
