Ghanaian musician-Mzbel (real name Nana Ekua Amoah) flew into Accra from Tamale today and she brought with her the northern culture—beautifully rocking Batakari.
It’s interesting how fine she looks in a simple Batakari—sort of telling all of us that, we should look more into such Ghanaian traditional wears.
We have beautiful local designs and wears, we just have to pay more attention and style them to suit our taste—and then when we’ve fully embraced them, we can look into selling them to the outside world.
