Yesterday, I stated on Facebook that Abraham Attah, the 15 year old Ghanaian-Hollywood star should stay away from the Ghana Movie Industry—because, it’s not worth his time or hustle.
Of course I was being mischievous due to some insane comparison; that some of the local stars are somewhat better than him. For this, I wanted to put him out of their league—after all, you can’t compare onions and oranges.
So I wrote this;
Abraham Attah, don’t listen to anyone who says come to Ghana blah blah—if you get an opportunity to be educated in USA, grab it. These same people will run for visas if they get the opportunity to live, work or study in America.
Don’t go and act in any Ghanaian movie if you can—because I am sure what you were paid in Beasts of No Nation alone will be more than doing 1000 Ghanaian movies. Wait for another big opportunity and make good use of the foreign contacts you’ve made.
If you decide to do a Ghanaian movie, remember you may have to work on set without life insurance, and you will have to use your own TOMS shoes for the shoot.
Charley Abraham, if it happens that your strong connections bring you to this years prestigious Cannes Film Festival, I will be there so look for me and buy me one of those 6 Euros hot chocolates. The press rooms have only free coffee and I don’t like the French that much when it comes to their coffee.
Abraham Attah has now landed in Ghana from United States and when Joy Fm caught up with him at the airport, he stated among others things that; he is not going to do any local movies because Hollywood is damn fun.
Bingo! Now, all those dishing out advises and comparisons can go play with the local stars—for Abraham Attah is far too gone. No reasonable person would want to retrogress in life…
For just this, I have increased my dose of love for Abraham Attah!
Certainly, Abraham means the local movie industry is out of his aspiration perimeters—he’s an international super star and that’s true.

Thanks so much for your report Chris. In fact, we have all increased our dose of love for this boy. Even though am not a movie fan, because of this young boy, am beginning to develop so much interest in movies which is kind of interesting to me. Lol
ENOANONO! NO LOCAL MOVIES!
