Abraham Attah is all anyone in this country can talk about for his night at the Oscars, preceded by the whirlwind that the past year must have been moving from a boy playing in the streets to a Hollywood star.
Most Ghanaians have been wildly supportive and proud of the 15 year old’s achievement, reaching heights that most can only dream of, but also making Ghana proud.
The President has added his voice to the chorus of praise for the Beasts of No Nation star. In a tweet late Monday, President Mahama congratulated Attah for his efforts raising high the flag of this country.
We couldn’t all be prouder.
