Singer Celine Dion is preparing to go back to work after a grief filled few weeks in which she lost both her husband and her brother to cancer.
Celine returns to singing at her Vegas residency in Cesar’s Colosseum, and she plans a tribute to René Angélil before her shows.
According to TMZ, the singer has had her entire act changed to incorporate her new ten minute tribute, and the tribute would be part of her show, until at least mid-March when she goes on hiatus.
She holds her return show on the evening of Tuesday, February 23.
Celine has not done much singing over the past two years, taking a break off the circuit to care for her husband after his illness deteriorated.
Angélil passed away on the morning of Thursday, January 14 from throat cancer, a condition he battled for over a decade. The 73 year old for several years served not only as the talented singer’s husband, but her mentor and manager as well; before the extremities of his condition curtailed his role.
