George Boateng, the man who attempted to challenge President Mahama for the NDC Presidential candidates slot and got crushed has been arrested by operatives of national security.
The comical challenger, who had a lot of radical ideas if he won, was arrested on Sunday night by National security operatives and handed over to the police.
He’s being held by the Airport Police on suspicion of fraud, after he allegedly impersonated national security operatives to extort money from unsuspecting citizens.
Boateng attempted to mount a challenge against President Mahama for the NDC flag bearer race, but had to bow out after the party claimed the forms he bought were draft copies and prevented him from buying new ones.
