Amazing that exercise books which are mostly patronised by primary and Junior high students would have such provocative covers in a country as conservative as Ghana.
It’s finally been picked up though, and the outrage machine is in full swing.
The above exercise books are apparently being sold in the Ghanaian market, at Ghc 1.20 each, to pupils, despite the provocative poses of the cover girls.
The books are believed to have been imported from China.
After questions were raised about it, Deputy Education Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablawah noted that security forces have been alerted to get to the bottom of the matter.
Although… I understand why the boys would be patronising it so much. LOL
