So basically, every pastor in this country is smart except Wanlov’s dad.
The more controversial half of the Fokn Bois, Wanlov the Kubolor, has dismissed his father’s intellectual powers, saying he is not a smart pastor because he never cheats his congregation out of their money.
Wanlov, speaking on Adom Fm, said that unlike most pastors who charge their congregation before praying or performing a consultation, his father never does that, making him one of the few no so smart pastors he’s ever seen.
“As a business man and a pastor my dad has to take money before praying for any of his church members because churches that take money from members before helping them in prayers are the churches who receive more people always” he told Ohemaa Woyeje.
“Churches that take money from members before praying for them are the ones that are known in the world. I love him as my father but I don’t like the fact that he doesn’t spend his church’s money.
“I wish my father can be smart enough to start spending his church money; that’s what business men do to survive” he added.
Frankly refreshing comments from the singer, nothing like the skirting around the bad nuts that Ghanaians favour so much by trotting out that tiring ‘touch not my ‘anointed’ line.
A huge chunk of our preachers are in the process of fleecing the people, and I would implore Wanlov’s father to join them; that’s if he hasn’t already and Kubolor has just not been told, or he’s just pulling our legs.
